Jock Zonfrillo was born on 4th August 1976 in Glasgow, Scotland and is currently 45 years old. He is currently based out in Melbourne, Australia. He was born with the name, Barry Zonfrillo.

Jock Zonfrillo is an Australian chef and television presenter, who gained fame on the hit cooking show MasterChef Australia . He is widely considered as the most popular judge on the show. He co-founded The Orana Foundation that promotes Australian indigenous food. 

Zonfrillo had a tough childhood where he used to work as a dishwasher in restaurant kitchens at the age of 13 while attending school. At 15, he left school and started working in different kitchens in the UK. He also worked for Marco Pierre White, the most famous British chef. 

Jock Zonfrillo then moved to Australia to work with Restaurant 41 in Sydney. Post that, he was made the head chef at The Tresanton Hotel, Cornwall, England when he was just 22. Zonfrillo went back to Australia to work with Restaurant 41 where he was made the head chef. 

He started appearing in various magazines for his skills as well as looks like  Gourmet Traveller Magazine, Good Food Guide etc. He opened his own restaurant  Nonna Mallozzi in 2018 but it shut down in 2019 due to debts. Orana as well as Bistro Blackwood also closed down one after another. 

In 2019, Jock Zonfrillo became one of the judges in Masterchef Australia with Melissa Along and Andy Allen.

Jock Zonfrillo is currently married to Lauren Fried who is his third wife. The couple got married in 2017 and had met on Twitter in 2014. They have a son together who was born prematurely.
