Andy met Hamish in University of Melbourne where they both went to study for graduation. He also started his own band called Zoophyte with his brother Cameron. Andy Lee left the band a few years later because of other work related commitments. However, he comes as a guest performer with the band often.
He has also written children’s books like Do Not Open This Book which was initially written for his nephew but gained extensive publication and also bagged awards. There are almost 30 items and various books added to the Do Not series.
